Dead Space 3 on PC is going to only be through Origin.
Typical EA move. Personally this move will not tempt me to use Origin anymore than I do, which isn't very much.
What is your opinion on Origin and why?

Until Origin has more functionality and games all EA are doing by keeping games exclusive to it is making people only use it for EA games. If they really want people to use it they should try to keep it in the background like Ubisofts (which is also lame) store. This would allow them to still make money from the sales of games on steam whilst also keeping people aware of its existence and allowing them to use Steam almost as advertising for own service.

I agree, uPlay is pointless but at least it keeps out of the way. Plus you can still buy Ubisoft games through Steam. EA just want you to go through them to buy games

Origin has got some good deals occasionally. But it has a horrible interface

I can't really say this surprises me, but I think it is bad news. EA just need to stop being so controlling and focus their efforts onto making better games.

I'm honestly not bothered. I think EA has every right to distribute their media through whatever method they see fit, and if there was a game that they released through Origin alone that I was desperate to have (which hasn't happened ever) then that wouldn't stop me personally from buying it. However they're clearly going to alienate a lot of people by doing this.
