Even though the Island is very small and can easily be crossed on foot in just a few minutes it is worthwhile adventure to rent a golf buggy for the day and drive around the island. Once you pass the Navel Base continue south and you experience the most stunning views, the shimmering waters of the sea is about 75 feet below. Further one, you will reach the southern most tip of the Island where you will find El Garrafon Submarine National Park and the Mayan Ruins, built for the Goddess of Fertility.
